everything you need to know about microblading.

what is microblading

what are the benefits of microblading?

who can have microblading?

Microblading is an advanced brow technique that uses a superfine row of needles to deposit pigments into the skin, to create thin, hair-like strokes. Rather than giving you a block of colour like traditional tattooing, fine strokes are done by hand to create the illusion of real hairs.

Microblading is not implemented as deeply as machine brows (ombre/powder brow)

who can have microblading?

Microblading heals best on normal to dry skin types.

You cannot have microblading if:

You are prone to keloids, have super thin skin, Rosacea or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

You have a transmittable blood disease such as HIV or Hepatitis. It is best to not work with these conditions for the safety of our clients as these conditions greatly impact the immune system and healing process of individuals.

You have an auto-immune disease.

If you’ve had Botox in the brow area. We ask that clients wait 4 weeks after botox before getting Microblading done. Alternatively, you can do the Microblading treatment first and then wait 4 weeks to do your botox.

You are undergoing active chemotherapy.

If you have any kind of skin condition near your eyebrows - eczema, shingles, rashes etc.

If you have oily skin.

You are under 18 years of age

If you are pregnant or breast feeding.

If you have dark pre-existing eyebrow tattoo.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY TREATMENT?

Prior to the start of your procedure, we will discuss the shape of your existing brows and the problem areas you wish to address.

(Bringing photos of your desired brow shape is highly recommended and greatly appreciated)

We take photos of your bare brows. Then your brow shape will be mapped onto your brows using string and a brow pencil. We will come to an agreement together on your new perfect shape!

Photos will be taken again. The Microblading procedure begins and it will take approximately 1 hour for completion. After photos will be taken and aftercare given.
